We find ourselves wandering the third floor of the Kodak Plaza in Hollywood, lost. After several minutes

of confusion, I decide to call Charlie and ask for a little help. As it turns out, we were just a moment away from our destination. Charlie happily came out to collect us. Charlie led our "road crew" as he called us, down the walkway to a large furniture store entitled Venetian Design. As we enter the store, I feel a surge of uncertainty as I look around at all the ornate dining tables and huge, fancy couches. Charlie takes notice, assures me that this isn’t his stuff and continues to lead us to the back of the shop.
As we walk, Charlie explains about the obscure placement of his gallery. Apparently, the owner stumbled across the cluster of worn down storage rooms that are now the elegant and efficient show rooms we see today. The rooms were stripped and painted to perfection. Just as we enter the show room, featuring a number of other artists, several well dressed men exit. We are left to ourselves to completely and freely indulge in the art.
Nearly hidden in the back of the expansive furniture store, Charlie’s display of art is an alluring surprise full of life. Charlie has the amazing ability to turn even the simplest of doodles into incredible works of art. But don’t be mistaken, nothing he creates is simple. From "Amor Vincit Omnia", a portrayal of the loves of Charlie’s life, to "Metal", a wire sculpture of an electric guitar, each piece brims with detail.
As of now, Charlie’s work will remain up until the 5th of December. But, if things go well, he will remain for the next several months with new pieces circulating as the older ones get sold. With modest prices and exquisite works, Charlie is optimistic. If you would like to stop by, Charlie is there personally every Wednesday. And if you would like to make an appointment, Charlie is open to phone calls and promises to check his e-mail.
