The Mile After is a Charlotte, NC-based trio of like-minded musicians who are starting to create quite a buzz. After some experimentation with garage bands of varying genres, TMA's members, Chase, Ben, and Jim, decided to join forces after connecting musically at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in late 2003. Soon thereafter, The Mile After exploded onto North Carolina's music scene and began catching the attention of fans around the world. The Mile After's knack for writing unforgettable melodies is rivaled only by their indisputable ability to flawlessly reproduce their recordings at any given live show. Their three lead singers (who all seem to share the common goal of writing the catchiest song of all time) tackle complex harmonies with ease and give the band its signature sound. Throughout the past three years, TMA has managed to pioneer a new genre of vocal-driven pop rock that balances meaningful lyrics with a seemingly endless supply of ear-catching hooks. Refreshingly, the members pride themselves on being available to their fans, as illustrated by their constant presence in the online community and frequent correspondence with music-lovers everywhere. The Mile After is penetrating the music industry at a heart-stopping pace and, luckily for us, our boys are showing no signs of slowing down.
