Peter Slocombe was born August 21st, 1984, in Wolverhampton England. Starting
clarinet at age six he switched to the saxophone at age nine. After moving to California in
1996, Peter was quick to get involved in the music scene. He currently resides in Los
Angeles and has completed his Bachelor's degree from the California Institute of the
Arts. Peter has had a diverse musical career, playing in Hollywood clubs with local rock
and pop acts, as well as studying and performing with some of the world's top jazz
musicians; notably Larry Koonse, Joe LaBabera, Paul Novros, and Vinny Golia. In 2005
Peter was the recipient of the John Coltrane Music Scholarship for saxophone
performance.
