Patrick Hoelck didn’t begin his career as a photographer. In fact, he refers to his primary occupation of the past six-and-a-half years as a “grateful accident.” Hoelck began his career in New York City as a youngster working in the music video world during what he calls the “rap era.” His current work is a marriage of the influences he has taken in throughout his life.

Acetelli calls his work "soul painting," and paints mainly in contrasts and organic tones. "I believe I find more expression in a darker palette as far as my emotions are concerned and what I am representing -- my guts and my feelings on canvas." He is affected by the work of Robert Rauschenberg and Basquiat, and incorporates textures into his paintings.

Perfido wasn’t born with the gift of photography. His talent bloomed later in life after a series of odd jobs, such as waiter and computer programmer, in a variety of locations, including London, Dublin, San Francisco and Las Vegas. At age 28, having always enjoyed beautiful images, something literally clicked.
